Cell Phone Photos

Here’s how GON Readers responded… • 24% Hmmmm...a thousand or so. I have to get to them. • 21% Maybe a few hundred. I'm pretty good about keeping them under control. • 20% 2,000 to 5,000...there are a ton! • 19% Other • 11% 10,000 or more!!! • 5% Just a few. I quickly offload them from my phone and upload them. I have hundreds on my iPad and I always want to delete a bunch, but never seem to take the time to do it. Also, maybe 1,000 or so on my camera card. • I had to delete a video to make room for more photos! I do have a photo stick to upload them to but I am afraid I love to show them to everyone and, once on the stick, they are just memories to save. • I wasn’t counting. Thank you for making me aware of the need to go through and eliminate what I don’t want. • 5,477! And I thought they were stored in The Cloud! Thanks for telling us how to find the number. • 22,448! I have to pay for iCloud storage because so many! • I was doing regular uploads to my computer until Covid. Need to get going again as I saw that there are over 20,000 photos on my phone. Will need to have a plan. • Only a few. I learned, the hard way, (phone data full) to monthly upload all photos I want to Dropbox and delete the rest. Then I make folders monthly and for special occasions to clean up my Dropbox. Last step, copy to external hard drive. • 7,522 • Just a few because I'm just two weeks with a new phone.
