QUESTION: What are your main sources for news about what’s happening in the world? Choose up to 3. Here’s how GON Readers responded… 29% I watch it on TV 23% I search for it on the Web 16% I wait for it to appear in my Social Media feed 16% I read it in the newspaper 15% I hear about it from family and/or friends 10% I hear about it on the radio   2% I read about it in magazines   2% All of the above equally   2% I don't ever follow the news * Percentages add up to more than 100 because we allowed respondents to choose up to 3. Other GON Reader Comments: I read my news feeds, but then it becomes overwhelming and I turn them off. I am always searching out the positive news! I subscribe to quite few headline services from various international news sources, both mainstream and alternative, so get a balanced view of the world beyond Canada (where I live) and the US (from which we are unavoidably bombarded with news, most of it bad). I subscribe to email news sources. This seems to "balance out" the info I get from the  above sources. It all makes me sick. I get a daily news digest email and notifications from news outlets I subscribe to newsletters from certain health professionals I follow a news app feed I get that is not party-based. I occasionally look at COVID-19 figures, I check local news for local cases Daily work team calls and company Intranet
