Most people don’t wear most of their clothes.
Do you?

Most people wear only 20% of their clothing 80% of the time. This means
that 80% of most closet and drawer space is being taken up by clothing
that is never worn. Weed out what you’re not wearing and free up some
storage space. Ask yourself these quick questions to help you make your
tossing decisions:
1.
Have I worn this more than four times in the past year? If the answer
is no, then most likely you won't wear it ever.
2.
Do you love how it looks or feels? Or, is it itchy or uncomfortable, too
long or too short, too flowery or plain for your personality/taste? If you
don’t feel great in it, it’s a good candidate for the donation box.
3.
Does it project the image I want to project? If it doesn’t, give it the
heave-ho.
4.
Is it in need of repair before you can wear? If so, hem it, mend it,
replace the button, clean the stain, etc. either yourself or get it done
professionally. Give yourself a deadline and handle the fix so you can
make use of it.
5.
If I saw this in the store today, would I buy it? This is one of the most
important questions. If you would not buy it today, then why keep it
today?
