Most people know that too little sleep can have ill effects on your health,
but did you realize that getting too much sleep can have the same effect?
Research has shown that sleeping less than 5 hours each night, and
more than 9 hours, is associated with poorer memory in later
life...especially if you’re nearing your 50s and 60s.
This is yet another reason to have an organized schedule, even when it
comes to sleeping. Try to go to bed at around the same time each night,
and get around 7 to 8 hours of sleep each time. You’ll be giving yourself
the best opportunity for a productive, more focused, less grumpy day!
