Here are just a few things I have going on this month… • Teaching Yoga: I just got my certification to teach Silver Sneakers Yoga, so I’ll be teaching my first Yoga classes this month. So excited. wish me luck! • Jury Duty: I’m on call for jury duty for the whole month of September. It’s a call-in system so I won’t know if I have to serve or not until a few days prior. Being a planner, I’m not thrilled with not knowing where I have to be. But I have made an “alternate” planner page for the month in case I am called in. • Monthly Book Chat: I am currently reading Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty and will be discussing it with my in-person book chat group soon. I’ll let you know how I like it when I’m done. • Fall Clean-Out: Every fall, I get the urge to clean out my house, so I’ll be choosing an area each day to declutter and/or clean out. I don’t choose a huge project, but rather a cabinet, a shelf, a section of a clothing rod, a few file folders, etc., and I generally invest about 20 focused minutes in that area. • Start prepping for winter scrapbooking retreat: I attend a 4- day scrapbooking retreat with my girlfriends every year, and there is a lot of prep work from organizing and printing photos, thinking about layouts, pulling together and/or purchasing supplies, deciding on the meal I’m going to make (each person is responsible for making one meal for everyone), secret sister gifts, and more. So, I’ll be putting focused planning effort into that this month. • Apple picking: My husband and I visit an apple orchard every single year and pick a ton of apples. Then, I make all sorts of new recipes with the harvest. We look forward to this annual adventure. • My Organizing Business: Now that my daughter is in college and I don’t have quite as much laundry and other TO DOs that involve her, I’d like to begin creating some more organizing videos to share with you. Stay tuned for those! • Family Weekend at my daughter’s college: My daughter just started college this fall, out-of-state. I am so excited for her new adventures, but I miss her dearly. We have plans to visit her later this month during family weekend. I am counting the days! We’re hoping, during that same trip, to visit other family members in that area as well.
