I made this one switch to rake leaves a lot

One of the things I always do to rake leaves is to lay out a tarp. The leaves
are then scooped into the tarp. Using one is so much easier than leaf bags.
But it was still taking me a lot of time to rake the lawn because we have a ton
of large trees.
While walking around Home Depot yesterday, it occurred to me that I could
rake leaves a lot quicker if I was using a much larger rake.
Now I’m able to scoop up double the leaves than I could with my smaller
rake, without any additional effort!

Great fall tip!
Use the legs of old, metal, TV trays to help make fall leaf pick-up a snap. Just
turn them upside down. I found that big, black bags fit over them nicely and
stay open to put fall leaves in. Sure beats having to struggle to keep a bag
open!
In addition, I use old, big dog food bags instead of buying the plastic ones for
the leaves. The dog food bags also fit over the metal legs of a snack table
and stay open for leaves or what the dog leaves behind in my yard too.
