Surprise Halloween Package (Boo!) for your
neighbors

If you’re like me, receiving an unexpected gift is always fun and appreciated…and giving an unexpected gift to someone else can bring inner joy as well. This time of year, I love putting treat bags together for my neighbors. Here are some ideas I’ve included in the past…all either Halloween or fall- related: • Halloween or Fall dish towel or pot holder • Candle…vanilla, caramel, apple-spice, cinnamon, or another delightful autumn scent • Homemade apple or pumpkin muffins • Stuffed animal • $5 gift card for a latte • Tea…Chai or Orange Spice • A new magazine of fall ideas and inspiration • A seasonal candy bar (salted caramel chocolate) • A seasonal scratch-off lottery ticket You can certainly just ring the neighbor’s doorbell and hand them your gift. OR, you can do this anonymously (leave it on their doorstep) and try to get the idea of being neighbourly to multiply in your neighborhood by “boo-ing” one neighbor, that neighbor “boo-ing” someone else, and so on.
