Self-Care Challenges
Each challenge is designed to help you focus on self-care.
1.
Create an affirmation for the month, like “I practice self-care each
and every day.”
2.
Start the day with a cup of water with lemon, hot or cold.
3.
Schedule in “Me Time” and make self-care your new habit.
4.
Clean the mirrors so you can clearly see the beautiful person you
are.
5.
Take a 20-minute walk.
6.
Make a list of “joy bringer” activities (books, films, songs, podcasts,
etc.) and pick one each day.
7.
Prepare homemade lemonade. Enjoy sipping it slowly, outside, with
your favorite magazine.
8.
Set a timer for five minutes. Fill a bag with clothing that doesn’t
make you feel wonderful about yourself. Donate it. Buy one outfit
that you love.
9.
Sing and dance to your favorite song.
10.
What is one thing can you take off your TO DO list that doesn’t
resonate with your current goals?
11.
Book a hair appointment.
12.
Prioritize your sleep. Be sure you’re getting at least seven to eight
hours daily.
13.
Catch the sunrise, sunset, or both.
14.
Turn off your phone notifications. Meditate or pray for 15-20
minutes.
15.
Turn your afternoon tea into a ritual. Use your prettiest or most
motivational mug.
16.
Buy yourself a bunch of flowers or pick them from your garden.
17.
Practice Gratitude. Post three things, that you are grateful for, on
your favorite social media platform.
18.
"What would I like more/less of in life?” Then journal it.
19.
Visit a garden center, local park, or green space.
20.
Shake up your routine today.
21.
Do something just for you, and you alone.
22.
Sit on the porch and “multi-task” the right way. Pod fresh peas while
soaking your feet, journal while waiting for your face mask to set,
sketch something while having a conversation with a good
friend…all in the fresh air).
23.
Write a NOT TO DO list.
24.
Listen to your intuition. Be open. Trust. Be patient.
25.

26.
Take a revitalizing shower with an Epsom salts scrub.
27.
Wash your hairbrush and make-up brushes/sponges.
28.
Call or write a friend…just because.
29.
Pack up a “Potluck Picnic” using up what you have in the kitchen
and enjoy it in your back yard or front porch.
30.
Unfriend people on social media who bring you down, rather than
lifting you up.
31.
Write up a new exercise routine. Start today.
