Organizing Challenges Mini Organizing Challenges: November For each week of November, our mini challenges will be “Easy as Pie” Challenges, which means accomplishing them will be a cinch. Week 1 (November 2 - 8) Make a holiday bucket list. Type up 20 things you (and your family, if applicable) want to do this holiday season. Post it somewhere prominent, like the fridge or family bulletin board. Then schedule at least 5 of these on your family calendar. Week 2 (November 9 - 15) Get rid of expired pantry items. The first items in your pantry to bid a fond farewell to are those that are expired. This should help you get rid of an ancient jar of molasses or an old box of muffin mix. Week 3 (November 16 - 22) Put together a box for the less fortunate. Grab a medium to large cardboard box and fill it with clothing for the less fortunate. You’ll be decluttering your home…and helping others at the same time. Week 4: (November 23 - 29) Clean out your coat closet. Donate your surplus of coats, jackets, and other outerwear. Then, organize your “keepers.” Every one person’s belongings should be in its own “section.” Organize gloves, scarves and such into labeled containers or tote bags for each family member.
