Loving Yourself Challenges
Here are your 7 mini challenges for the month, all based on loving yourself.
___
Make your bed every single day: After a long day, you deserve to
climb into a welcoming, fresh bed. Plus, it’s an accomplishment you
can achieve right at the beginning of the day…it sets the stage for a
successful day ahead.
___
Be present in each moment: It’s so easy to just “get through the
day” and work on your TO DO list. No matter what you’re doing,
from sweeping the kitchen floor to filing papers at the office, be
present and mindful of what you’re doing. Don’t rush through the
task…take it slow, realize the benefits of doing the task, be grateful
that you’re able to handle it.
___
Be honest with yourself: Is your TO DO list too full, too light, or
just right. Look it over, assess the situation, and be honest with
yourself. It’s it’s too full, it may be time to stop doing what’s no
longer serving you. If it’s too light, it may be time to add some items
you’ve been procrastinating on.
___
Keep telling yourself, “I am enough”: So many of us get down on
ourselves. We’re often our own harshest critics. Whatever you are
able to achieve in a day, be happy with that. Pat yourself on the
back. Be your own cheerleader.
___
Do one thing daily that’s either organizing-related or cleaning-
related: You deserve to live in an organized, well-kept environment.
Make that happen by doing just one thing every day that moves you
in that direction.
___
Do something just for you: Yes, it’s important to serve others, but
not at the expense of never serving ourselves. Do something just for
you every day, like enjoying a hobby, reading, exercising, a skin care
routine…something that makes you feel more alive.
___
Each day, write one sentence that answers this question…
“I love __________ about myself”: Maybe you love that you can
think quickly in challenging situations? Perhaps you are really good
at keeping your kitchen cabinets organized? Maybe you read with
excellent comprehension? Doing this daily journal entry will help you
focus on all of your amazing qualities. It’s important to love yourself
and be proud of YOU!
