Organizing Challenges Mini Organizing Challenges: December For each week of December, our mini challenges will be focused on “All Things Organized and Cozy” so you can have organized spaces and cozy moments this holiday season. Week 1 (November 30 - December 6) Organize spa products. Organize a basket with spa-type items such as a loofah, a body wash or bubble bath in your favorite scent, a hair towel, packets of hair mask to deep-condition your hair, lotion, a mud mast for a home facial, cuticle oil for your nails, a foot scrubbing pad, and the like. Indulge yourself this week…and try to give yourself an hour to enjoy your spa basket every single week. You deserve it. Week 2 (December 7 - 13) Organize your bedroom. If there’s one place in your home where clutter should not be, that room is your bedroom. Your bedroom should be a restful, peaceful, cozy haven where you can unwind, de-stress, and relax. Remove all clutter, including the area under your bed. Wash linens, blankets and comforters (check first to be sure they are washable) if they haven’t been cleaned in awhile. Bring them to a laundromat if they’re too fluffy to wash at home and use the triple loaders. Week 3 (December 14 - 20) Organize your cold-weather accessories. Consolidate all of your cold-weather accessories (gloves, hats, scarves, earmuffs, etc.) into one easily accessible container or tote bag. When weather is cold, you should only have to go to one place to get what you need to ensure you stay warm and cozy. Week 4: (December 21 - 27) Organize a hot beverage station. Designate one area for your coffees (ground coffee or k-cups), teas, and hot cocoas. Stock this area with accompaniments as well, such as honey, cinnamon, mini marshmallows, etc., preferably close to your mugs and tea cups When you’re in need of a hot beverage, you’ll be able to get one together in a jiffy.
