Organizing and Life Challenges are available.
For the month of April, my Organizing and Life Challenges are focused on
renewal. When I think of the word renewal, two words come to mind: Begin
again. Isn’t that a beautiful concept? Whatever it is, whatever level you’re
at, whatever challenges are before you…April is a blank page just waiting
for you to begin again.
Here are 5 “renewal” mini-challenges. Have fun achieving each of them,
one by one. Ready, set, go!
Renewal Challenges
___
Start a new healthy eating regimen: Perhaps you want to eat
more fruit and veggies, go meatless, eat less sugar, or something
else. Set your specific goal for the month, and begin again.
___
Go outside at least once a day: Sunshine or rain, get outside
every single day this month. Being outdoors does wonders for our
productivity and emotional health. Go out into the world and begin
again.
___
Add some color to something drab: Whether it’s a set of blue file
folders, a new coat of yellow paint, or a pair of green socks, add
some vibrant color into your life…and begin again.
___
Eat slower and savor your food: Make it a point to sit down during
mealtimes and savor every bite of your food. Slowing down helps
digestion and mental stress as well. Take a deep breath, enjoy every
bite, and begin again.
___
Say goodbye to something that doesn’t resonate with you: It
could be an old pair of boots, a piece of artwork you never really
cared for, a club you’ve been attending that you don’t enjoy, or a
toxic friendship. Whatever it is, if it’s not bringing something good to
your life, say goodbye this month. Moving forward, begin again.
