Rev your engines and get this job done as quickly as you can! Set a timer for 20 minutes...and go, go, go! • Laundry: Toss used towels into a laundry basket (1 minute...run to your laundry sorter if it is in another room...you’ll get some exercise at the same time!) • Mirrors: Clean the bathroom mirror with window cleaner (2 minutes; longer if your mirror is a smudged mess.) • Dust Bunnies: Dust off shelves, pictures and light fixtures...you may need a long-handled duster.  (2 minutes) • Sink and Counters: Push all items on your bathroom counter off to one side. With your favorite cleaning products, clean out the sink and wipe down faucets, counters, light switches and soap dishes. Then, move the items the the other side, and clean that section. If something shouldn’t be on the counter, put it away. (4 minutes) • Toilet: Clean out the toilet bowl with cleanser and toilet brush. Swish cleanser around the bowl making sure to reach under the rim. Next, disinfect the toilet tank, flush handle, lid, over and under the seat, the base, and the floor around the base of the toilet. (5 minutes) I know...yuck...I hate this part too! • Floor: Shake out rugs, sweep, and use a wet paper towel to clean the floor. Don’t forget the corners of the room! (4 minutes) • Restock: Restock the bathroom with fresh hand towels and toilet paper. (1 minute) • Trash: Empty the trash on your way out. (1 minute.) • What about the shower? Don’t do it now. You’ll save tons of time if you just clean it next time you’re in the shower--before you shower. Then when you’re done showering, wipe it down with a squeegee when you’re done.
