25 Fun, Do-Able Things To Do This Summer

A good summer is one that’s filled with special memories. Here are 25 fun
things do to this summer. Choose one each day and begin.
1.
Make a completely vegan meal on the grill.
2.
Squeeze fresh lemonade. Drink some while reading a new magazine.
3.
Go to a baseball game. Eat lunch from a vendor you haven’t tried
before.
4.
Take a long walk on the beach while you’re dreaming up new
adventures.
5.
Plant a garden…indoor or outdoor.
6.
Try a new hairstyle or hair color.
7.
Host a rummage sale…or piggyback on a friend’s sale.
8.
Visit a new town. Eat someplace that the locals enjoy.
9.
Volunteer for something in your community.
10.
Learn how to refinish an old piece of furniture. And then do it.
11.
Go to the library and attend a book reading or one of their other
informational events.
12.
Take a photo every single day for 26 days…one photo for each letter of
the alphabet. (a=art, b=bird, etc.) Post it on social media.
13.
Visit a friend. Do something special together like crafting or attending a
summer festival.
14.
Catch the sunrise and sunset. It’s the perfect beginning and end to each
day. Bonus: Stargaze that night as well.
15.
Host an outdoor dinner party with friends or family you haven’t seen in
awhile.
16.
Add some solar lights on the walkway leading up to your house.
17.
Take a cooking class to learn a new cooking technique or cuisine.
18.
Do 20 random acts of kindness, one each on random days this summer.
19.
Deep clean one room in your home. Rearrange the furniture. Add some
new décor.
20.
Learn how to make something from scratch. Bread, a cake, or barbecue
sauce perhaps?
21.
Learn how to make something by hand, like a new pillow, a greeting
card, or a quilt.
22.
Attend an outdoor festival. Buy something made by a local vendor.
23.
Get outside every single day, even if it’s raining.
24.
Digitize your printed photos for safekeeping. Share them with family
members and/or friends on social media.
25.
Go on a road trip, read about a road trip, or do both!
