Dirty Little Secret
Using sticky ingredients?
Prevent them from
sticking to the measuring
cup. Here’s how!

To prevent sticky ingredients, like honey
and molasses, from sticking to my
measuring cup, I “grease” them with a
small amount of nonstick cooking spray
before adding these ingredients. If I
happen to be measuring oil for my
recipe, I measure the oil before
measuring the sticky ingredient...it has
the same slippery properties as
nonstick cooking spray. Both of these
ideas will help the sticky foods slide
right out, leaving none behind.
