To avoid this, set tables with pretty placemats, napkins in napkin rings, and a vase of beautiful flowers. Place a gorgeous coffee table book or two on your coffee table. Put your framed family photo on your bedroom dresser, along with a lovely silver tray that holds your favorite scents. I know I’m less likely to mess up a surface that looks so pretty!
