The more friends and associates you have, chances are the more invitations you’re going to get to coffee dates, presentations, parties, etc. While I enjoy a social engagement now and then, I certainly don’t want them overtaking my schedule. What I do is limit my social engagements per month to no more than three. Once three social outings are scheduled in a given month, I decline all further invitations for that month.
