As convenient as it may seem to serve your soup, stew, or other meals
made in pots or pans directly onto plates from the stove, you'll find it
easier to clean up afterwards if you place the pot onto a heat-resistant
counter mat, on the counter, like I do.
In doing so, you won't have burners, burner pans, or grills to clean--a
simple swipe of your counter with hot soapy water will do the trick!
