Dirty Little Secret
Here’s my secret for
drastically reducing
ironing time…

First off, I try to buy clothes that don’t
require ironing in the first place. But
sometimes, I like to wear cotton shirts,
and these do tend to wrinkle easily.
After washing these, I allow them to air
dry. When they’re almost dry…just
slightly damp…I place them in the dryer
(as long as the care label says that
tumble pressing is okay), on the warm
cycle, for about 20 minutes. This pulls a
lot of the wrinkles out. As soon as the
dryer cycle ends, I remove immediately
and quickly pass the iron over them if
needed.
