Dirty Little Secret
Do you have stashes of
recipes to try
“someday”? Here is my
system to find and make
them…

I keep a three-ring binder in the kitchen
for the purpose of holding recipe cards
and recipes that I cut out of magazines.
Each recipe is placed in a plastic page
protector in this binder in my “Try This
Recipe” section. Now I can find the
recipe easily.
I only allow 25 untried recipes at a time.
If the number goes over 25, a few of
those I haven’t yet made must be
recycled. Once I determine that a new
recipe is a “keeper” it goes into a
permanent section in my binder in the
appropriate food category.
You can apply the same concept with
recipes you find on Pinterest. Just keep
a Pinterest folder titled “Recipes to Try”
and only allow 25 at a time. Keepers
can be filed into your Pinterest
“Chicken” folder, your Pinterest
“Dessert” folder, etc. as applicable.
Only allow recipes you tried, and liked,
in your permanent folders…so you can
find them again.
