I have a morning ritual
that helps me relieve
stress and re-energize.
Here’s what it is…

I don’t have a cup of coffee when I
wake up in the morning because I feel
like I’m just drinking it to wake up...I’m
not really “enjoying” it. Instead, when I
first wake up, I have a large glass of
lemon water (I squeeze an eighth of a
lemon in a 12-oz glass.) The water is
invigorating and wakes me up. At mid-
morning (around 10:30 A.M.) I have a
warm cup of coffee or tea...and I savor
it while taking a break from work,
reading a book, watching a motivational
YouTube video, or relaxing on my deck
or porch (if it’s nice outside.) This helps
me release stress, and re-energizes
me at the same time.
