A beautifully, streak-free mirror takes a
few steps, but it doesn’t take much time
and is well worth it:
1.
Quickly spot-clean your mirror if
needed. Just place a bit of rubbing
alcohol on a cotton pad and wipe off
toothpaste residue, hairspray, etc.
2.
Spray the mirror with window
cleaner. I use Windex. If it’s a large
mirror, spray and wipe a section at a
time.
3.
Fold a flat-weave microfiber cloth in
quarters. As you’re cleaning the
mirror, you can re-fold, re-flip the
cloth so you always have a dry side
to work with. Start wiping at the top
left, and follow an “S pattern” down.
By the way, the micro-fiber cloth
works way better than newspaper,
paper towels, etc.
4.
Check the mirror for any final touch-
ups and handle those. just spray
some window cleaner on the cloth
and wipe those areas. To be sure
you don’t miss them, don’t look at
the mirror straight on, but rather from
a bit of an angle.
