Whenever I receive a gift in a gift bag, I carefully remove the gift, cut off the tag (only if written on), and fold up the bag to store in a drawer in my closet that is specifically designated for storing gift bags. I sort bag themes together…birthday, love or anniversary, all-purpose, holidays, etc. The next time I need to give a gift, instead of going to the store for a gift bag, I go “shopping” in my closet. The bags aren’t filling up the landfill, they are able to be used more than once, and the sorting makes it easier to keep each category well-stocked. Back to Dirty Little Secrets Index
