Dirty Little Secrets I always have this one unlikely item in the kitchen, just in case I have to clean up broken glass… Here’s the secret: Believe it or not, I always keep Play-doh in the kitchen. Why? Because every so often, a drinking glass or glass container breaks...and Play-Doh is perfect for picking up tiny slivers of broken glass. Place several layers of old newspaper on the table. Sweep any large pieces of glass into a dustpan and empty onto the newspaper. Then, use a piece of Play-doh to grab those smaller shards. Add the Play-Doh with glass to the newspaper layers. Finally, carefully wrap up the newspaper (take care so you don’t cut yourself) and discard in your trash can.
