New studies have revealed that sitting down for long periods of time can
leave you feeling anxious and stressed. So, think twice before binge-
watching TV for 5 hours in a row or sitting at your desk for several hours
without getting up. The average American sits for nine hours a day. That’s
not good for physical health or mental health. Get up and move around for
a minimum of 5 minutes out of every hour during your “awake time” to help
you stay motivated, positive, and energized.
